Guampedia Author. Robert Haddock grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and earned both a bachelor of science degree and a doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Michigan State University.

Guampedia Author. Rebecca A. Stephenson earned an MA and a PhD in anthropology from the University of Oregon in 1971 and 1976, respectively. She earned a BA in anthropology from Hamline University, St. Paul Minnesota in 1969.

Guampedia Author. Randall L. Workman holds a BA in psychology from University of Northern Iowa and he earned both his MA and PhD in sociology from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.

Guampedia Author. Peter A. San Nicolas is the Agana Heights village historian. He is a former director of the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse and was chief-of-staff for former Senator Joseph F. Ada during the 26th Guam Legislature.

Guampedia Author. Patricia Long Diego holds a bachelor of arts degree in speech communication with cum-laude honors and distinction from San Diego State University. She is a lifetime member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, San Diego State University chapter.

Guampedia Author. Nicholas Yamashita Quinata earned a BA in history and journalism with a minor in anthropology from the University of Oregon in 2004.

Guampedia Author. Michael R. Clement Jr. is an Assistant Professor of History and Micronesian Studies at the University of Guam (UOG). He holds a BA in history and a PhD in Pacific history from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

Guampedia Author. Marjorie Cushing Falanruw has experienced three careers thus far. As the daughter of Captain Mars and the Sky Lady (alias Frank H. Cushing and Marjorie. Bailey Cushing), Falanruw’s first career, from an early age, was as a circus performer: on the tight wire, trampoline, horseback, trapeze and motorcycle.

Guampedia Author. Marie Ada Auyong is delighted to write for Guampedia, as her research has paved the way for her to re-connect with the island. She moved to Guåhan from New York, where she completed her MA in International Educational Development at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Guampedia Author. Lawrence J. Cunningham received a BS in education and an MEd from the University of Cincinnati in 1965 and 1967, respectively. He earned a doctorate in education from the University of Oregon,1987.
