Melissa F.P. Camacho is a caregiver, cultural teacher, and event coordinator at Gådao Preschool and Daycare in Mangilao, Guam.

Camacho has been with Gådao Preschool and Daycare since August 2001 where she implemented a Chamorro language based cultural curriculum and organized interactive social and cultural events involving students, parents and the community. One such event, ”Gupot Chinahan” is an annual cultural fundraiser she has worked to organize for six years. Camacho also gained internship experience with the Richard F. Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center, University of Guam from August 2001 to May 2002 where she worked closely with Dr. Hiro Kurashina and researched cultural artifacts such as latte stone.
Camacho graduated valedictorian of her class in 2002 from Chief Gådao Academy and was the recipient of a merit scholarship for college awarded by the school.
