You wanted to show the people your infinite love; and you sent your only Son to become man through the Holy Spirit in the most pure womb of the Virgin Mary; and it was also your will that Saint Joseph, the holy spouse of the Virgin Mary, would raise and be the foster father of your radiant Son who became man. We beseech you, Lord, that you be pleased to look upon the deeds of Jesus, Mary and Joseph; and that you forgive us our sins; because we are truly sorry for having offended you on account of your unsurpassable goodness and mercy which we truly appreciate. We pray to you, most sweet Jesus, that you remember the blood you spilled when they cut your flesh in your infancy, and also your obedience to your Most Holy Mother Mary and your foster father Saint Joseph; and that you humble us interiorly, and that we be obedient to the will of God, and joyfully obey the sweet yoke of your commandments; because if we are your servants in life and death, we will say with great repentance: Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and we will obtain the death of those whose way is righteous, and enter the eternal bliss of heaven; and now grant us what we ask you in this novena if it be for your glory and the good of our souls. Amen. Now stir up in yourself your trust in Jesus, Mary and Joseph; and ask interiorly the special grace you are trying to obtain in this novena. When finished, repeat.
