Chelsea Marlo San Nicolas is the daughter of John San Nicolas and Melissa Finney Bettis and the oldest great-granddaughter of late Pacific Daily News editor Joe Murphy. She lived in Guam until she was nine and has since lived in Washington, DC; Scottsdale, AZ; and Eugene, OR. She visits Guam frequently to visit her family.
Chelsea graduated from Winston Churchill High School in Oregon and is attending the University of Oregon in the fall, where she plans to major in biology. Her hobbies include writing, reading, drawing, traveling, and learning new languages.
