Ripe banana doughnuts


  • 2 lbs ripe bananas
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 pint vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Peel and mash the bananas. Add flour and mix together. Add sugar and mix well.

Heat oil and, when hot, drop the mixture by the spoonful into the oil, turning frequently.
Cook until golden brown on both sides.
