“There was no place like Sumay.” — Virginia “Tan Berina” Sablan Pangelinan Perez, Familian Kotla

The village of Sumai/Sumay holds an important place in Guam’s history, from ancient times, up to the relocation (displacement) of its residents after World War II. The Guampedia Sumai/Sumay Descendants Registry is intended to compile a current list of original residents and lineal descendants of Sumai/Sumay so that we can create additional educational resources that document and highlight the rich history and pride of i Taotao Sumai/Sumay.

Guampedia invites Sumai/Sumay descendants to complete the registration form. All information is confidential.
