Life on Guam was a 1977 project to produce relevant class, lab, and field materials in ecology and social studies for Guam middle and senior high schools. Funding for the project was made through a grant under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Titles III and IV, US Office of Education–Department of Health, Education and Welfare – whose policy, positions, or endorsement is not necessarily reflected by the content herein.

The project’s mission is to “ultimately graduate citizens who are knowledgeable and conscientious about environmental concerns of Guam and the rest of the world.”
