Guampedia Author. Wakako Higuchi earned her PhD in Pacific and Asian history from The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia and an MA in Micronesian studies from the University of Guam. She also holds a BA in Oriental history from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.

Guampedia Author. Vincent P. Diego earned a BA in biology from the University of Guam in 1995. He went on to earn his MA and PhD in biological anthropology from Binghamton University, State University of New York in 2001 and 2005, respectively.
