Marguerite Blythe Saussotte (Flores, familian Cabesa) received a BA in English from the University of San Francisco in 2004.

Saussotte is an editor and freelance writer who has worked on various Guam projects and publications including Guampedia, GU magazine, Pacific Daily News and Big Fish Creative, Inc.. She was assignment editor for Guampedia in 2005.

Saussotte lives in Osaka, Japan with her husband and is an English professor at Kobe Shukugawa Gakuin University in Kobe. She has done freelance writing for Kansai Scene. She is from Nimitz Hill, Guam.
