E Sanchez

Eloise R. Sanchez earned an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, a Masters of Public Administration, as well as, a BA in Early Childhood Education from the University of Guam.

Sanchez is currently the School Program Consultant with the Guam Department of Education’s Division of Curriculum & Instruction and is responsible for the following programs: Service Learning Program, Early Childhood Education, School Library Program and facilitates the District’s Curriculum & Textbook Committee.

Sanchez has worked with the education department for more than three decades. She was a teacher for nearly a decade before becoming a school program consultant for Early Childhood Education from 1993 through 1997. Her role included providing support to kindergarten through fifth grade teachers by facilitating meetings, workshops, and in material and resource development to augment the early childhood education curriculum, program and professional development. From 1998 through 2008, she was the Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Guam Department of Education overseeing curriculum, program and professional development.

She has also been a part-time instructor of education at the University of Guam and Guam Community College. She is a member of several advisory boards, which includes the School of Education Advisory Committee, and the Education Advisory Board for the Early Childhood Education Program with the Guam Community College, and the Institutional Research Board (IRB) with the University of Guam. Sanchez was also a former member of the State Rehabilitation Council.
