Daryl A. Haun earned a B.A. in secondary education with an emphasis in
English from the University of Guam in 2002 and is currently taking graduate
courses at the university.

Haun is a Reading teacher at F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School, as well as, a
professional writer.

In 2006, Haun received an Excellence in Tourism Award from the Guam Visitors
Bureau (GVB) for his tour guide work with Discover Guam and was a
contributor in Guam’s Natural, Cultural and Historic Sites Guidebook, first
published in 1999 by GVB.

Haun has participated as an athlete and a coach in several South Pacific
Games and Micronesian Games under the Guam Baseball Federation and is a 1990
graduate of Simon Sanchez High School, Guam.
