Kelly G. Marsh earned a B.A. in history and anthropology and an M.A. in Micronesian studies from the University of Guam.

Marsh is the former vice-chair for the Guam Historic Preservation Review Board and the Guam Preservation Trust. She has worked as a Guam history instructor at the University of Guam and at the high school level. She also authors the Guam Year-in-Review for The Contemporary Pacific: A Journal of Island Affairs.

Marsh is currently researching Micronesian heritage and conservation issues as a Ph.D. candidate in cultural heritage studies in the School of Environmental Sciences at Charles Sturt University, Albury-Thurgoona, Australia.
